ABOUT F.R.I.E.N.D.
Families for Responsible Investment in EducatioN and Child Development was launched in Santa Monica in early 2023. It is made up of volunteers applying their professional expertise in finance and analytics to help families best understand the private school landscape, so they can be better informed and prepared to make long-term and often mid-six-figure investments in a child’s private K-12 education. In the coming months, the organization will launch numerous free tools and resources, beginning in Chicago with plans to expand nationwide.

It is with great confidence that we move from Beta to Launch phase. We started this journey as a quest to uncover the truth via analytics and data. Why is this important? Well quite simply the review landscape is completely manipulatable, wherein hard facts are not. The publishing of our top 10 private schools list for Chicago is forthcoming with data at the core of the ranking and analysis.
Achieving Beta

We hit our marks in achieving validation of our hypothesis. All data gathered, lawsuits, financial data, existing sentiment and dissonant sentiment were run against our test hypothesis and we received the new ranked set of top 10 Chicago private schools. This analysis was then manually vetted and validated by our internal team and we found total alignment.

August 2023
Our team has launched our V1 product. We are working diligently on our first set of analysis with the top 10 Chicago schools. We selected Chicago through a rigorous study of google mentions, social media analysis and negative sentiment dissonant with existing rankings on sites like niche.com and others. Our mission is to bring truth via advanced analytics to the landscape of selection of a private school.
